I love catching these adorable moments.  It's something hard to remember amist all the sibling animosity that at the end of the day they really, truly do love each other.

This layout is based on the sketch I made this week for Sketchy Thursdays:

I'm so loving the rhinestone designs on my layout.  I made them with the Imaginisce i-rock.

Seriously, this is a fabulous tool!  Sooooo easy to use and I sure do love my bling so the i-rock is a dream come true.   Check it out on the Imaginisce site.

And speaking of Imaginisce, they're this week's sponsor on Sketchy Thursdays and the lucky winner of the challenge will win an Imaginisce i-top tool!  Very cool!!!!

Hope you are having a great start to the summer (or winter).

Me?  I'm just trying not to melt.  113 today.  Woohoo!!

U (Sketchy Thursdays)

Yes, it's true!  An honest to goodness traditional paper layout for Sketchy Thursdays this week!!!  LOL!

I took weekly pictures of the boy every week at the minute of his birth for over a year.  Sometimes I'd get really cute pics like these, sometimes he'd be sleeping.  But it's a great record of his growth over a year.

I'm such a hoarder.  The painted tape used on this layout was some I'd used as a mask on another layout a few months ago.  The colors go perfectly!  See!  There's a good reason to be a hoarder sometimes.  LOL!

My layout is based on the sketch I made for Sketchy Thursdays this week.  Come play along with us for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to E.A.D Designs!  Very cool.

Hope you are having an awesome last week of spring!!!

Peeny Peenoes

You don't know what peeny peenoes are?

Why, they're pigtails!!!

At least that's what The Girl has called them ever since she could talk.

We've never been able to figure out where she got the name for them but to this day we still call them peeny peenoes.

Hope you're having a great weekend!

Just a fun, bright little card for a sunny weekend.

I'm frantically reorganizing and purging several different areas of my house right now.  I have to do all these areas at once as they all have stuff that's interrelated.  I need to move this stuff there and that stuff here, know what I mean?  My house has been horribly disorganized since the birth of my son (he's 7-1/2 now) and I'm at my limit.  I mean, I'm a slob but there's even a point at which a slob yells "Enough!"

I'm bushed.  And more to look forward to tomorrow.  But it's a good exhaustion!

Last Day

Credits Kit: Paisley Pop by Karen Funk; Font: Century Gothic, Alba Super

My baby on her last day of preschool.  She looks so grown up!

Come play along with us on Sketchy Thursdays.

Today is the boy's last day of first grade.  Didn't he just start Kindergarten??!!!!!

What do you do to keep your kids occupied over the summer?
