Is it Friday already?!!
Well, Happy Hip Hop Hangover to you all!!
I've been all over this die cut bird, lately. I cut 2 transparencies so I've had 2 positives and 2 negatives to work with. You may have seen the other positive HERE (my wall hanging). One of the negatives will be showing up here soon...
I love Unity's plethora of wonderful quotes. I thought it befitting of my daughter's contemplation of a zero-edge water feature...it flows well into the surf and sky background.
August's first challenge over on Dreamgirls is Challenge 33: On the wings of love.
Prompt: Wings on your project
I hate it when I have to take pics at night under artificial light. It always dampens the overall look of a layout. It's hard to see all the glitter effects on this one...the bird has mica dust sprinkled throughout the paint, it's outlined with Stickles, and the flourishes are sparkly embossing powder.
The bird is painted with the gorgeous color palette from SPCC's color combo this week:
Details: Stamps - Unity Stamp Co., Autumn Leaves; Stampendous embossing powders; VersaMark ink; Cricut die cut; Ranger Stickles; Making Memories paint; DCWV paper; unknown mica dust & transparency.
Make sure you check out all the other submissions for both SPCC's color challenge and the Dreamgirls prompt. They're all so beautiful!! This craft is home to so many inspiring, talented, amazing people!!
Also, be sure to check out this week's specials over on the Unity site!! As usual, they're smokin'!
Hope you all have a wonderful Friday and the prospect of a rockin' weekend!
