Happy Easter Baby Keegan

I've been wanting to scrap my son's second Easter for years now but just hadn't had the right inspiration. This week's Sketchy Thursday sketch on Design by Diana worked perfectly for me!

I love this Easter in particular because my mom gave my son a stuffed lamb similar to one she bought for me before I was born.
March 201 issue
Her Easter card to my son that year retold that story.
She notes in the story that at the time she bought two stuffed animals for me - a lamb and a dog. I still have that dog today and yes, he does not really resemble a dog anymore but his state is a shining testament to how loved he has been over the past 38 years. He spent much of his life in my pillowcase giving silent comfort, although now he resides in a special basket in my closet.

Thanks for the inspiration, Diana! Be sure to head on over to Diana's blog Thursday for the next Sketchy Thursday sketch.

Details: Paper - Basic Grey, DCWV; Ribbon - Basic Grey, Michaels; Ink - Stampin' Up!, VersaMark; Autumn Leaves stamp; Stampendous embossing powder; Making Memories glitter alpha.

Have a great Thursday and be sure to come back tomorrow for some Unity Hip Hop Hangover-ing!!

I absolutely love this! My mom's LO this week was about my sister's special lovey, too! That letter from your mom is priceless! Great job, and thanks for playing!!!
